Project Instruction
This project involves only one person, and we are asked to conduct a review of any data only and to perform test analysis for the data we obtain from the internet. I collected data on the information of athletes competing in the Olympics. I have already researched whether the rising age factor of athletes can cause their weight gain and whether the weight of athletes in each country is the same.
Introduction
The Olympics is a tournament that is highly interpreted and loved by all. Therefore, I have taken the opportunity to research whether the age factors of athletes can lead to weight gain. Also, to test whether the average weight of athletes competing in the Olympics is the same across countries.
Reflection
After I finished this project, I learned a lot because this project is individual and all work must be completed on its own. Among the things I learned was how to use Rstudio where we can calculate mean, correlation, regression and ANOVA so easily where we just need to write the correct coding and all the calculations will be done by Rstudio. Also, I learned how to write a report in the correct format and according to the rubric set by the lecturer and all the words must be correct grammar and not typo. Next, I also learned more about how to make good presentations and record videos. This gave me the confidence to keep talking even when I was just talking in front of the camera. Lastly, although individual projects do not mean that we can quickly lose track of where we need to be and realize that all of this is important to us in the future when we are already in the job and all of these experiences are applicable at that time.
Conclusion
In this study, I found that it can happen to all groups, not just athletes where as we grow older, we gain weight. This is all because we are not keeping our daily routine where eating late at night and being lazy for sports can lead to significant weight gain. Also, based on this study I found that the average weight for athletes in each country is the same as their weight remains healthy and energetic and it is not unusual for them to compete in the Olympics where sporting events are not uncommon, it requires training. length and focus to get to their target is the gold medal.
