Internship (WEEK 9)

  • After learning all the technical work, we also been taught on management work such as:
  1. Every time frame for works done are monitored before the kpi for each foreman can be determined.
  2. Example for aspects related to set the kpi are time for each cutting, grinding and welding, working area, tools access and safety compliance.
  3. Daily progress from every foreman. Each foreman are given target kpi to install 30 support and cable pulling at least160m for different foreman per day. At 5.30pm everyday, each foreman need to update their work progress and state any problem occured for that day. Then, supervisors and project engineer will plan out the solution for every problem to ensure all works run efficiently and accordingly.                                                Picture1.png          Untitled.png
  4. Every materials and tools are ordered based on work progress. Excessive materials will cause losses to company. Managements are the one who need to identify how many materials and tools to ensure optimum work progress. Examples of materials:

           - Angle bar (50mm x 50mm)
           - Cable tray (50mm, 100mm, 150mm, 300mm)
           - C Channel (100mm x 50mm)
           - Single stand support and double stand support

        5. Finally, after all works are finish, QC team will inspect each quality and tidiness for every items              and installations based on specification given before handed over to client.
