SECP1513 - TECHNOLOGY AND INFORMATION SYSTEM

Out of All the things that were presented in the conference, I think the biggest take is most likely emotion We have to be strong in order to become someone useful in the industry and always find a balance in our life in order to have a stable mental state. With stable emotions, our productivity would improve by a big margin

The presentation gave me a lot of general knowledge as in the advancement of human technology since the first industrial revolution. IR4.0 definitely showed how far we have achieved with technology. With IR4.0 slowly being spread about, I hope I can be involved in progressing our country for the foreseeable future. I’m also amazed with the advancement from our country especially from TM which has been working in advancing our country into the IR4.0 era.

The talk had a great insight on how we can improve ourselves especially during university so that we would have a better chance on landing a job. They talk about being proactive and participate in a lot of competitions to improve our soft skill which helps big time with getting a job. The speaker can also relate to the student because they’re still fresh graduates and are able to share a little bit about after graduation. However, the weakness is probably that the talk has alumnus who got jobs as soon as they graduated. Hearing the side of only successful alumnus could be slightly one sided because we don’t get to know how it would be like if we didn’t strike a job right after graduation. Lack of explanation is also something that can be consider as weakness where the speakers did not explain in detail about their experiences during internship and work.

From the session, I mostly gained a lot of advices that may help me during my university years such as getting into competitions, make friends and being proactive because we can gain more confidence and traits that employer would want and be willing to give us a job. We have to be aware that academic achievement is not the only thing that matter and work on our soft skills.

My name is Muhammad Harun bin Marzuki, the leader of the group. Regarding my goal, I am still pondering about my future so I have no clear goal yet. Chances are I might not even be in this career line in the future. Next, being the group leader kind of makes you have more responsibilities, so it should make me a better person in the future. As for my plans to improve for the foreseeable future, I’ll maybe take more management duties so I can better perform as a team.

Prototype of Design thinking

I know about PC but have never known what is required to assemble one. This assignment really helped me in that area because  i learned about the basics of PC components and what the component does. The motherboard is the most important component of the all because it connects every thing into one for the PC. We didn't have a physical activity for creating a PC for obvious reasons but at least I know something before i jump into PC building.
