Assignment 1
Instruction
Students are required to write a group report, video and presentation. A group consists of
4-5 students. Design thinking is a process of critical thinking used to develop solutions to
problems through collaboration, innovation and design. Design thinking helps prepare
student for a world where skills such as teamwork, problem solving, communication,
analysis, creativity and the ability to influence others is becoming increasingly important
in the work force. Students need to record and document all the process in design thinking
which empathy, define, ideate, prototype and testing.
Conclusion
The concept of design thinking can be applied in various type of knowledge. From education, law, and medicine to ICT, business management, human resource management and its own design, the principles of design thinking enable and empower a professional to approach problem statements step by step and take into account all factors necessary to to the best solution.
During the analysis, different thinking is applied and various solutions are considered for each basic problem statement. The main purpose of different thoughts is to present as many ideas as possible to the table.
Different thinking is followed by convergent thinking, where the suggested ideas are tested on the grounds of feasibility, viability, and innovation. Synthesis takes the help of convergent thinking to come up with the final best possible solution.

Assignment 2
Instruction
In this assignment, students are required to write a group report on Basic PC Assembly.
The report consists of 3 parts as follows:
PART A – Tools needed
PART B – Sketch of a mother board layout
PART C – Step by Step PC Assembly
Reflection
I was able to develop my knowledge of computers both internally and externally. I can identify and distinguish basic components of CPU, understand functions of the CPU basic components, understand the process to assemble a PC and I can demonstrate the assembly of a PC

Industrial Talk 1 by Telekom Malaysia (TM)
Instruction:
1. Students are required to write a group poster (3-4 students) regarding the topic of the industrial talk above.
2. The poster should include an executive summary, introduction and the content based on the situation discussed in the topic.
3. This report will be 7% of the course assessment.
4. The limit for the poster is 1 page of the poster. You may also include tables/ figures to support your content.
Note: the most important content of your poster, please write your opinion and views on industrial talk.
5. Every group should write the poster in your own words.
6. PLAGIARISM of the content is prohibited. If any of the content is known to be copied from other website/review/blogs, you will be given 0 mark.
7. You can get photos/information from other resources, but you must include credits (in citation/link) to the original owners.

Instruction :
Students are required to write a group report (3-4 students) in 2 pages. The report should include an abstract, introduction, the content in TWO (2) main parts (importance of IT project management and trending in IT project management), the relevant IT careers, each group member’s reflection, acknowledgement and references.

Students are required to write a group report regarding the topic of Cloud Computing Fundamentals. The content of the literature review report should include:
a) Comparative Evaluation
Do research on the most prominent Cloud Computing Service Providers; Amazon EC2, Google Cloud Platform, and Microsoft Azure and write a detailed comparison and discussion. Focus on the following comparative points:
• Service model (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS)
• Virtual Machine (VM) instance types offered (such as micro, small, medium, large etc.)
• Storage
• OS environments offered
• Security
• Performance and scalability
• Pricing model
• Auto-Scaling/Elasticity
• Monitoring tools/service provided
b) Opinions
Analyze the advantage and disadvantages of different types of cloud platforms. Assuming you are required to select 1 (one) of the cloud service provider for your software development, discuss your selection and opinions supported with strong arguments.
