Capstone project is done in a group of students. There are 4 students in each groups. The theme of the project is given by the instructor but the student can choose the project they want to make as long as it related to the theme. There are a lot of benefits can be obtained by the students from Capstone Project.

The Capstone Project can helps the student to enhance their way of thinking. Several ways of thinking such as imagination, belief and stream of consciousness can be learn through reflection on experience. Besides that, the Capstone Project also helps to build the teamwork characteristic among the students. The situation of working in a group make the students to plan their works together such as dividing the works to reduce the time in completing a task. Besides that, the Capstone Project also helps the students to develop their skills on collecting information and presenting it. The progress of Capstone Project is supervised by a lecturer and comments are given to improve these skills.

As conclusion, there is a lot of benefits from Capstone Project to help the student building their additional skills beside academic. The Capstone Project can provide students a taste of what they will face upon graduation.

The industrial talk was held on 17 April 2018 (Tuesday) at L50 DK1 from 2.15 PM to 5 PM. The talk was delivered by Ir. Juraimi Masood from PTP Tanjung Pelepas. Currently he is working as General Manager Development Office Port of Tanjung Pelepas. As head of Development Department he is responsible for planning, construction, test and deliver of various packages within the Port development plan. Some of the contents of the industrial talk are discussed in next paragraph.

He began the talk with sharing his experiences being a Resident Engineer which in charge in commission the Air Conditioning Plant in KLCC project. In that project he took the chance to polish his skills on communication because  his works always related to deal with clients, colleagues and contractors. He emphasizing that communication skills is very important to build the career path. An engineer who have excellent communication skills can easily blend in the working environment especially when the works involved foreign workers. Ir Juraimi started with being an engineer at first of his career and climbed up until he became a General Manager by exploring new abilities such as management and development planning. He mentioned in the talk that the abilities can be obtain if the individual willing to learn new things to keep improving themselves. 

Next, Ir Juraimi explained that engineer's work is contributing to the society. In order to deliver a good work, an engineer must have a good engineering ethics. One of the engineering ethics is responsible. A good engineer must have a high responsibility towards their works. The engineer also must take into consideration of safety and quality in their project management. The safety not just cover for the workers on the project site but also the safety of people surrounding it and people who going to use it. He shows some example of project accidents caused by the human error during project planning and management. At last, he said engineering ethics is the field of applied ethics and system of moral principles that apply to the practice of engineering. The field examines and sets the obligations by engineers to society, to their clients and to the profession. 

As conclusion, the industrial talk motivate the final year students and give some views on how to face the working environment in the future. It also helped the students to have an early plan for career path by skills development in early stage of the career and keep the good ethics while working.
