Minute Meeting 1 (Group 10)

Discussion:

Leader for this week is Hafiz. Group members are assigned with specific tasks.

Hafiz and Danial list down all components and tools needed for the project. The estimated costs of each components are as follows;

  • Resistors (25*82 ohm/2* 1k ohm/330 ohm)

(RM 25*0.08/RM 0.03/RM 0.04)

  • 50k ohm Potentiometer (RM 2.40)
  • 25*Led (white) & Indicator Led (red) (RM 5 for 50)
  • Toggle Switch (RM 5)
  • 7805 Voltage Regulator (RM 2)
  • 2*0.1uF Ceramic Capacitor (RM 0.45 each)
  • 2*4V 1.5Ah Rechargeable battery (RM 5 each)
  • 555 Timer IC (RM 2) & 8 pin Socket (RM 0.50)
  • PCB board (RM 5)
  • TIP31C NPN transistor (RM 3)
  • 2*1n4001 Diode (RM 0.8 each)

The estimated cost for this project should be RM 34.5.

Haziq and Ilham was tasked to design a simplified circuit for this project but due to time constraint, the circuit designed is incomplete and postponed until the next minute meeting.

Asraf and Khairul was assigned the project’s official title and explaining the purpose and benefits of this project to students.

Purpose:         To help students read in dark or dim rooms and reduce energy lost due to high brightness

Benefit:           - Reduce eye strain during late-night studying.

                        - Can be used as Emergency Lights.

                        - Rechargeable & Portable
