Self-Directed

            Independence or the ability to make your own unbiased decision and organizing your own work rather than being told what to do.

Autonomous Learning

            Able to give a simpler yet clear explanation on a subject from their own understanding based on prior knowledge and current learning experience.

Inquisitive Mind

            Someone who is curious by nature and showing immense interest in learning and finding out more about everything. Also, those who are inquisitive will constantly research new things and ask questions. They also have a different mind set compared to others because they are focused on “How to Think?” rather than “What to Think?”.

Research Methodology

            A skill that should be possessed by any scholar. By definition, it means specific procedures or technique used to identify, select, process, and analyze information about a certain topic.

Why Curiosity/Inquisitiveness is Important?

  • Curiosity is the foundation of innovation and creativity.
  • It helps people to learn new things and have a different perspective.

How to Develop Inquisitiveness?

  1. Clear Mind

-Don’t assume you already know everything.

-Don’t let past experience restrict your decision making by assuming things.

  1. Asking

-You should not make asking the right question the top priority.

-Even obvious and direct question may lead to bugger, revealing question.

  1. Familiar

-Its easy for everyone to stay in your comfort zone but the problem is when you are too familiar with it.

­­­-Don’t be afraid to step out of your safety bubble.

  1. Diversify

-Similar to Familiarity, it should be become apparent that having new experience will keep your mind active which makes you curious.

  1. Amazed

-Don’t limit yourself. Let yourself be amazed at everyday things
