[25/06/2018] MONDAY
Another batch of baby bottles was tested during the day. Hence, I was tasked to document the samples before and after washing, and analyze the quality of the wash.
I cleaned the samples after all tests were done.
I modified the code for the machine as needed in the future.
I studied some materials about the things which are needed in my self project later.
[26/06/2018] TUESDAY
I rechecked the code which was modified to ensure that there are no mistakes.
I modified another part of the code to ensure the machine runs more smoothly.
I verified and discussed with other engineers about the code that I have changed.
With their agreement, I uploaded the new codes to the machine.
I helped the engineers to create a waterproofing system for the blower of the machine. The blower is used to dry the baby's bottle after the washing cycle. Our first design failed, and hence we needed to change and improve the system.
Since other engineers were busy with finishing reports for the client who will come the following day, the work done took longer than planned.
When the waterproofing system worked as intended, we ran tests for the drying cycle of the machine.
We had to make sure that everything runs smoothly before the clients came.
We found out that the sprinkler of the machine had issues that need to be fixed. It took us around an hour to improve the sprinkling system.
We moved the machine to the meeting room.
We ran a full cycle test to ensure the machine works perfectly.
From the test, we've found a few things that should be fine tuned. This could be done through programming. Hence, I made a few changes to the codes. After uploading the codes and ensuring it works, i went back home, at 1 am.
[27/06/2018] WEDNESDAY
I showed and gave the codes which I changed yesterday, to the other engineers here.
The client arrived at 9.30 am. I was not required to be in the meeting room with them.
I used the day to study the materials given to me, as part of my training plan.
I also tried using pro/Engineering software to do some CAD, because this company uses pro E for their projects.
When the meeting with the clients finished, I attended a small meeting with our workers to get updates of our project. From what I've heard, the clients were satisfied with our project, and they gave their inputs and suggestion for further improvement.
[28/06/2018] THURSDAY
The clients came for the second day to discuss the business aspect of the project. Hence, my supervisor and other workers were occupied with their meeting.
I used the day to further train using pro E and studied the materials which were given to me.
[29/06/2018] FRIDAY
I trained using pro E and studied the materials, and also did some research on the project that i will be doing.
At 12pm, I attended a meeting along with the team that handles the baby bottle washing machine. I was given updates about the clients' feedback, ideas for improvement, and also new tasks we will be handling before our project is ready for production.
After Friday prayers, I helped Syah to run a test on our machine, to find out its amount of water consumption. The test was done twice, in order to validate the accuracy of the data obtained.
