[18/06/2018] MONDAY
All of the members of my department, (research and development) are still on leave for Raya Aidilfitri. Hence, I asked around other departments if they need any help. I was also given updates on the changes that were made to the baby bottle cleaning machine while I was on leave.
Since I have been exposed to Arduino programming during my stuides in UTM, I asked for the permission of the engineers to have a look at the codes used for the machine.
My time today has been used to study the codes for the machine and also other materials for my internship training.
I asked the permission from my supervisor to add another slot for my training plan, to include an Arduino programming training session. Changes to the plan will be updated.
[19/06/2018] TUESDAY
I was assigned to analyze the wash quality of the machine and to record the data.
I photographed the baby bottles which have been washed earlier, to record the data, and to enable the comparison between the condition of the baby bottles, before and after washing.
I assisted Syah in fixing some leakage and flow problems in the machine.
The rest of my time was used to study the code of the machine and to research about the self project that I am required to do.
Before leaving, I prepared milk for the baby bottles, which will be used to perform another test on the next day.
The milk bottles were then left to accumulate 'dirt'.
[20/06/2018] WEDNESDAY
I emptied the baby bottle which contained milk that was prepared on the previous day, and left it to dry for a while.
The bottles were photographed as a means of documentation of the condition of the bottle before wash.
There was a few changes and improvements made to the machine, before the washing process is done.
Before the washing is carried out, I assisted Syah in determining the time and settings needed for the operation of the machine.
I assisted Syah in performing four different types of test, which corresponds to different type of milk, setting, and conditions used.
I was appointed by my supervisor to be in charge in any changes to the coding structure of the machine, using Arduino language.
[21/06/2018] THURSDAY
The client for the baby bottle washing machine will come to see our progress on 27th or 28th June. By that date, we should have produced a complete machine for the client, without any faults and failures. Hence, today has been used to run tests extensively, experimenting on the conditions used to wash the bottles and analyzing the data.
Further tests are carried out throughout the day.
[22/06/2018] FRIDAY
Further tests are carried out today. Until 27th of June, tests will be carried out extensively.
Apart from documenting and analyzing the data and sample of the tests, I studied the code used for the machine, so I'll be able to do changes when needed.
