Report Activity Nawasena Camp 2022

1)Mini Report: This camp was organized by the Nawasena Camp Committee, a part of PPI UTM, with the primary goal of congratulating and welcoming incoming international students from Indonesia to UTM. The event took place in Hutan Rekreasi UTM from November 11 to 13, 2022. A total of 49 new students have joined this camp, and attendees from the generations of 2018 through 2020 have flocked to this event.  Additionally, we have primary responsibility for participant safety while setting up camp in the wild as well as tracking. This forced me to fill numerous responsibilities at this event, including Logistics, Operations, MC, and Fasilitator, as there were only 48 available human resources. I start working on the first day of the event's opening ceremony. Then, in the afternoon, I switch to logistics and take over as MC for the Gathering event from generation 2018 to generation 2022. On day two, I started acting as a facilitator and tracking guide. On the final day, I return to handle logistics for the exciting game and closing ceremony.

2) Self Reflection: By performing my committee tasks, I will have acquired a number of new talents by the time this event is done. To organize my work and the work of my friend to be more successful and to create a good team work to solve an issue while facing a problem, I must first improve my leadership and teamwork skills. The second skill I pick up while attending this event is communication. With those abilities, I am able to bring attendees to our event without boring them and state the main points. The final skill I acquired during this event was adaptability, and now I'm looking into wilderness tracking and camping survival strategies that take advantage of our local surroundings. I can safely conclude that I gained a lot of knowledge from taking part in this camp, including how to develop new talents, communicate effectively with seniors and new students, not to mention how to gain new experiences while attending UTM.
