  • Describe Gantt chart and milestones

PROJECT TITLE: CASCADED MULTILEVEL INVERTER EMPLOYING NEAREST LEVEL MODULATION (NLM) AND CONVENTIONAL MULTICARRIER PWM SWITCHING TECHNIQUE

The progress that I have made up to week 17 is I managed to do some discussion on comparison between the low switching frequency, NLM and high switching frequency, Multicarrier PWM on multilevel inverter. I also started to progress on my thesis report writing. I also have started to design the presentation slide for the FYP-2 seminar. Next, I managed to complete my journal paper that need to be submited on 11 June 2020. Some comparison in general of NLM switching technique and Multicarrier PWM switching technique can be observed from table below.

Milestone

The milestones of my Final Year Project can be simply expressed as follows:

FYP-1

  1. The design and simulation of NLM control circuit.
  2. The simulation of power circuit employing NLM switching technique.
  3. The pulse generation of NLM using Arduino.

FYP-2

  1. The design and simulation of Multicarrier PWM control circuit.
  2. The simulation of power circuit employing Multicarrier PWM switching technique.
  3. The analysis of data comparison between NLM and Multicarrier PWM.
