POSITION / ROLE IN THE ACTIVITIES
As the Director for the Annual Greeting Meeting (AGM) of UTM IET On Campus 2022, held at the splendid Le Grandeur Palm Resort, Johor, my role extended beyond conventional confines. Leading the team outside UTM necessitated a meticulous approach to navigate the distinctive challenges associated with hosting the AGM at an external venue successfully. My responsibilities encompassed the comprehensive orchestration of the AGM, demanding thorough procedural considerations to ensure a flawlessly executed event. Navigating the intricacies of organizing the AGM outside UTM underscored the significance of effective leadership and strategic planning to meet the demands of this unique event.

SELF - REFLECTION
The impact of organizing the AGM went beyond just dealing with logistical issues; it significantly shaped the development of my graduate attributes. Knowing the team well turned out to be a big advantage because it helped us work together seamlessly, and communication was more effective. Furthermore, the experience improved my adaptability skills, especially since hosting the AGM outside UTM meant dealing with a different setting and understanding unfamiliar logistical details. Challenges, particularly financial constraints, were addressed through proactive steps like organizing fundraising activities to boost our budget. This not only displayed creativity in problem-solving but also highlighted the collective determination within the team to ensure the success of the AGM. Securing the venue posed a unique challenge, as booking required upfront payment, necessitating funds to cover the reservation. This underscored the importance of strategic planning and financial acumen in managing and sustaining student-led initiatives which with the help of all the committee members, the strive gave a successful result in the end.
MINI REPORT
My active role as the Director of the UTM IET On Campus Club's AGM reflects my integral position within the club. Guiding the team through appreciating the last batch's contributions, welcoming new members, and emphasizing graduate attributes like communication and leadership is a commitment to the club's ongoing success. The AGM's extensive agenda encompasses speeches by VIP representatives of IET Malaysia, presentations by directors showcasing past events, comprehensive financial reports, and detailed secretarial presentations.
The financial report serves a crucial purpose by offering a transparent overview of the club's financial health, fostering trust, aiding in strategic decision-making, and ensuring accountability. Alongside the financial report, the director's report serves as a retrospective analysis, acknowledging collective efforts, highlighting achievements, and providing insights for continuous improvement. This AGM becomes a comprehensive platform that not only celebrates past accomplishments but also lays the foundation for future endeavors, fostering unity, purpose, and dedication within the UTM IET On Campus Club.
