POSITION / ROLE IN THE ACTIVITIES
In my pivotal role as the Director of EnGage Jakarta 2023, I assumed a multifaceted responsibility that extended beyond administrative duties. Orchestrating the logistical intricacies meant overseeing everything from venue preparation to coordinating with Universitas Negeri Jakarta (UNJ) and Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), ensuring that the collaborative nature of the program flourished. The delicate balance required between UTM in Malaysia and UNJ in Jakarta demanded not only administrative acumen but also a profound understanding of the program's overarching goals. My central focus was on creating an environment that transcended cultural and geographical differences, fostering an atmosphere of collaboration where participants could seamlessly engage in interdisciplinary activities.
Navigating the complexities of coordinating an international program from UTM to Jakarta, Indonesia, demanded a strategic approach to overcome potential challenges. From visa arrangements for participants to coordinating travel logistics, each detail required meticulous planning to ensure a smooth and efficient execution. My role extended to cultivating an inclusive and collaborative atmosphere during the program, encouraging participants to embrace diverse perspectives and engage in cross-cultural interactions. This not only enriched the academic experience but also contributed to the development of cultural intelligence among the participants. The experience reinforced my belief in the transformative power of international collaboration and the necessity for adaptability in navigating the intricate landscape of global academic initiatives.

SELF- REFLECTION
Reflecting on the experience, the impact on my graduate attributes has been both profound and transformative. The intentional emphasis on promoting renewable energy not only resonated with my personal strengths but also positioned me as an impassioned advocate for sustainable practices. This advocacy became a focal point of my engagement, aligning with the program's overarching goals and significantly contributing to the development of my leadership and communication skills.
The journey was not without its challenges, particularly in securing funding for an international program. However, these challenges became opportunities for growth. Mitigating financial constraints through strategic approaches, such as crowdfunding and collaboration with companies for sponsorship, not only showcased my adaptability and resourcefulness but also demonstrated the power of collective efforts in ensuring the success of the program. Overcoming these hurdles became a testament to the resilience ingrained in my approach, underscoring the importance of strategic planning in navigating complex logistical challenges. The ability to effectively manage the budget, resulting in the program being fully covered by sponsor contributions, speaks to the critical role of strategic foresight and perseverance in steering initiatives towards success.

Participation in EnGage Jakarta 2023 was a compelling and deeply justified decision, marking a profound immersion into the realms of an international engineering program. The program not only aligned seamlessly with my academic interests but also presented a unique opportunity to cultivate and refine essential leadership skills. The emphasis on solar renewable energy was particularly resonant, offering an avenue to contribute meaningfully to sustainable initiatives and further deepen my engagement with the engineering discipline.
The diverse activities within the program, such as conducting small experiments with solar panels and actively participating in educational outreach programs in schools, provided invaluable hands-on experiences. These experiences transcended conventional academic settings, allowing for a practical application of theoretical knowledge and fostering a comprehensive understanding of the subject matter. Moreover, the program strategically focused on key graduate attributes, including communication, leadership skills, and critical thinking. This intentional emphasis not only enriched my academic journey but also contributed significantly to the enhancement of my overall skill set.
