FYP 2 (Eportfolio 1)

Final Year Project II Supervisor:  Prof. Ir. Dr. Sevia Mahdaliza Idrus

To start my FYP-2 activity, I continued the work from my EasyEDA software by creating the PCB Design. The PCB design is made to connect all the electronic equipments which are terminal block for current sensors, 4G Module, Arduino Nano and terminal block for power source. Every connection has its own width. For (+) and (-) power connections, the width is 0.7mm which is considered wide because the power supply is 12V that produces large power and high resistance. For (+) signal, (-) signal and 5V power source, the width is 0.46mm which is considered thin because it does not generate high resistance when power goes through. Copper layer was also inserted in the design for thermal conductivity so that the copper keeps the heat from damaging and stressing the rest of the PCB. PCB design is shown below.
