SCSI1013 (Discrete Structure)

OVERVIEW OF THE COURSE

This course introduces the students to the principles and applications of discrete structure in the field of computer science. The topics that is covered are set theory, proof techniques, relations, functions, recurrence relations, counting methods, graph theory, trees and finite automata.

My Reflection

This course really helps me to understand more to understand how a computer solves problem. I makes me think about problems in a way computers can solve. At first I could not relate why I had to study set theory but now i can understand.
