Internship Logbook Daily Report Week 1 (MUHAMAD AKMAL BIN AZMAN B16KM0030)

Arrived for the first day of internship. Briefing from the respective Design engineer about the company objective and vision. Work syllabus will be tell today. To be introduced to the staff and engineers from the office section and the hanger section. 

Task today is about knowing the current mod for the design department in Mycopter aviation. This company are certificate to do a minor and major modification for an airplane or helicopter. We have been told to study and do some researched about this company previous design project and what type of design this company have done. We also are tasked to practice the used of Solidwork software as a platform of designing.  

Further research about past design project by Mycopter aviation. Mycopter Aviation is a authorized DOA company as know as Design Organization Approvals. This company make B3 type of design and modification. B3 mean it only takes data from main design and makes major and minor modification. Some of the research about past project are simple modification like putting a sign or symbol is count as modification. Task today is still studying and researching more about company's design project and revised on Solidwork software.

Briefing from the respective design engineer about our new task. The design procedure will be brief to us on what steps we must take before designing a minor or major modification or repairs. Design procedure makes into several steps. First it needs to be declare from the client that it needed modification to their aircraft or helicopter by fill up the AD (Airworthiness declaration of compliance).  This document aim to justify the needed of modification to their aircraft by make an official authorization through DOA (Design Organization Approval) company. 

Continue doing the task given on Thursday. Proceed to the other component of procedure for design modification. Next step in doing design modification is we must have the Approval of Modification Classification (AOM). It is used to identified if the modification is minor mod of mojor mod. The classification includes Product type, Structure mod, Weight, Balance and other main Mod effect. If one of these classification is affected, it count as a major change.
