Cawangan Penguatkuasa Kejuruteraan Armada (CPKA)

The third department is the Cawangan Penguatkuasa Kejuruteraan Armada (CPKA). In this department, I was given task to check either the modifications been proposed by the ship crews can be done or not by checking the stability of the ships. Also, I involved in proposing some improvements can be done in the navy ships. Then, we involved with navy activity which is TANGKAS that officially conduct by the RMN’s staff.

• While we are at our third rotation in department, at CPKA, we use our time in doing research about our project which is Hull Vane as here we can get a lot of information.
• We also present about our project to CPKA’s staff and asked about what need to be improve more.

• At CPKA, we were invited to join a program called TANGKAS. We get to disclosure on Damage Control and Fire Fighting (MKMA).
• We also learnt the procedure to handle the situation when ship flooded (damage control) and learnt the types of equipment and how to build tupang in order to control the flood in the ship.

• During our last week here, we received a visit from our supervisor of industrial training, Prof. Ir. Dr. Adi Maimun bin Abdul Malik and Dr. Nik Mohd Ridzuan bin Shaharuddin for a visit and student evaluation purposed.
