Week 1

How to start your project (I)

 

Objectives:

  1. Meet with your supervisor to discuss a project.
  2. Define project goals and objectives.
  3. Review and make a list of relevant literature and conduct research. Identify necessary resources.

 

 

Week 4

Objectives:

  1. Review and refine the literature review.
  2. Update the project schedule/timeline as needed.
  3. Finalize the project proposal and submit it to your supervisor and faculty.

 

 

Week 7

Objectives:

  1. Continue with preliminary experiments/simulations or data collection.
  2. Begin drafting the project's methodology chapter.
  3. Consider any necessary adjustments to the project's scope.

 

 

Week 11

Objectives:

  1. Continue with data analysis and interpretation.
  2. Make convincing arguments on the data analysis and interpretation. 
  3. Inclusion and understanding of societal and environmental (university-industry-government-public-environment) contexts in the project.

How to start your project (II)

 

Objectives:

  1. Attend Research Methodology (RM) Workshop Part 1.
  2. Refine project objectives.
  3. Select the final project idea.
  4. Start drafting the project proposal.

 

 

Week 5

Objectives:

  1. Continue the literature review.
  2. Identify the problem statement.
  3. Develop your research methodology.

 

 

Week 9

Objectives:

  1. Begin with data analysis and interpretation.
  2. Begin drafting the project's literature review chapter.
  3. Update the project schedule/timeline as needed.

 

 

Week 12

Objectives:

  1. Finalize data analysis and interpretation.
  2. Critical evaluation of the data analysis. 
  3. And the application of entrepreneurial skills (problem-solving and decision-making).
  4. Prepare presentation slides for project seminar presentation. Discuss with your supervisor.

Week 3

How to start your project (III)

 

Objectives:

  1. Attend Research Methodology (RM) Workshop Part 2.
  2. Define the scope of the project. 
  3. Begin a comprehensive literature review.
  4. Create a project schedule/timeline with milestones.

 

Week 6

Objectives:

  1. Refine the problem statement.
  2. Refine the research methodology.
  3. Begin preliminary experiments/simulations or data collection.
  4. Update the project schedule/timeline as needed.

 

Week 10

Objectives:

  1. Continue with data analysis and interpretation.
  2. Continue drafting the project's literature review chapter.

 

 

 

Week 13

Objectives:

  1. Continue to prepare presentation slides for project seminar presentation. Discuss with your supervisor regarding your presentation slides. 
  2. Rehearse your project presentation.
  3. Submit your presentation slides to the faculty/panel seminar.
