Mini Report
The justification for joining this activity is that the Student Development & Activity Division Deputy Vice Chancellor (Student Affairs) of UTM aim to teach student about how to build a great personal character. I have joined this online webinar to create a good self-image and become more confident.
The content of the webinar is mainly the sharing session by Dr Ugung Dwi about the skills that should be equipped by the student to become excellent with great personal character.
The graduate attributes that are focused on this activity were communication skill, adaptability skill, and thinking skill. During the webinar, the speakers, Dr Ugung Dwi Ario Wibowo taught us about how to build a great personal character to leave a good impression to others. Firstly, we must improve our thinking skill by changing our mindset and think out of the box. Besides, the communication skill is important where the speaker mention that we need to listen and think from others point of view to have a great and effective conversation with others.
Self-reflection
This event has given me impact on the development of my graduate success attributes. My thinking skill is improved as I learn on how to change my mindset when I faced an issue. It is important to think out of the box as we can see the issues in different way. Besides, my communication also improved as I learn on how to communicate with others efficiently. This is important as we can obtain useful message from others. Furthermore, I also learn on how to adapt to a new environment and work effectively under pressure.
My self-strength in this event is the ability to think out of the box. When the speaker provides some pictures and let us give some comment on it, I can provide some opinions that are different with others. However, I cannot understand some of the opinions provide by the others for a small session. Luckily, I managed to catch up after changing my mindset.
