I have participated in this event because I am invited by my friend. UTM Developer Student Clubs x IEM UTMSS x UTM XCITE brings you an "Android Workshop For BEGINNERS"! This workshop is aimed at the beginner's Java or OO programmer who wants to start with native Android development. This event is about a hands-on workshop and I was inexperienced in android studio for the first time. However, I took up the challenge and tried to learn about kotlin, java before confirming to join as a registration committee. I had decided to join the Application Development department after thinking about the things I want to do in joining a club and it is to enjoy while creating.
Throughout this activity, I was really able to learn about the importance of communication teamwork, teamwork, leadership skills, and also many other important graduate attributes. I had to constantly communicate with my program director respectfully, and work together with the other registration teammates in order to create flawless registration forms and procedures.
In this workshop, I’ll learn the basics of building Android apps with the Kotlin programming language. Along the way, I'll develop a collection of apps to start your journey as an Android developer. This course will help prepare me for the Associate Android Developer certification exam.
In short, I was really glad to have taken part in this activity because it has taught me many valuable lessons and has contributed to my growth and development into a better student.
