Mini Report
I joined this activity to gain insight into the mindset, knowledge, and experiences that are required for successful entrepreneurship, as I aspire to potentially start my own business after completing university. The activity focuses on three graduate attributes, namely communication skills, leadership and teamwork skills, and enterprising skills.
The speaker, Aman Jamadi, demonstrates effective communication skills through the use of body language, words, and multimedia. He emphasizes the importance of leadership, teamwork, and continual learning for success in entrepreneurship. Mr. Jamadi also shares his personal experience of starting his own computer hardware company, discussing each stage of the entrepreneurial journey and how he maintains motivation in his business.
The activity concludes with a Q&A session for participants to ask further questions.
Self-Reflection
By participating in this event, I've learned how the speaker makes his points extremely clearly by using real-world examples and the presentation tool, rather to just giving the audience the information or success theory he got from a book. Also, I learned about how the speaker collaborates with his team to accomplish their objective since they clearly define each assignment before beginning to work on it. The speaker also advised me on the traits and mentality that should be acquired during an entrepreneur's journey.
I learned from this activity that I have the desire to learn more about something, which is one of my talents. The speaker mentioned that having excellent product expertise is one of the key components of the entrepreneurial journey. Some individuals may find the process of learning more about the same subject uninteresting, but I find learning more about the item to be exciting.
