Self- Reflection

I have participated in the Annual Ramadan Islamic Competition after I got to know about it through some of my friends. I filled up the form with my personal details and the category I was interested to participate in. The organizers were cooperative enough with fill me in with necessary details and requirements. The entry was absolutely free. I participated in the category no.3 - Islamic Singing. I love to sing Islamic song and this was my chance to give my best. So I prepared for it and made a video through my phone. Finally on 17th April I submitted my video. Then on 30th of April when the Prize giving ceremony happened, turns our I got the Second Prize in the Category! I was so happy. Since I wasn't present physically in Malaysia due to COVID-19, my crest and certificate was handed over to the authority for delivering to me whenever I come to Malaysia. It was such a great experience for me!

Self Reflection

As a result of this webinar, I got to know a lot about the life beyond my experience. There were several instances when I can relate with the speaker in charge, which made me feel so much better about myself and saved me from self doubt. But there were several other experiences which made me feel grateful for my life. They also discussed about the techniques the education boards and committees have been taking before and after the Pandemic and how it has been affecting the your students. How the lifestyle has changed in both the situations. I got to learn what many initiatives AIESEC has taken for the betterment of the quality education during this pandemic. Finally we learned the new norms of the education system after this pandemic. We also shared our experiences as volunteers. Overall it was a great learning experience for us. Lastly, we were awarded with certificates for active participation in such a great event organized.

Self Reflection

This activity has been organized by UTM International in Kota Tinggi along with many other organizers volunteering for this project. We started our journey with a bus full of 30 volunteers representing UTM. A journey of 1.5 hours took us to the Kota Tinggi Waterfall. Through this activity, I could learn many valuable graduate attributes like leadership, teamwork and adaptability.  After this activity, I now know how one can complete and give their 100% through passion and determination. In this campaign we were instructed to plant 12 plants in a minimum and we tried our best to do that. All through the activity we had to pass through many rocky and slippery paths in the hill. But the people around me motivated to give my level best to the work for the Earth.

For this event, UTM International sponsored the trip to Kota Tinggi. We had a inauguration ceremony for the tree planting campaign with three guest speakers. We were given proper instructions on how to plant a tree and give them with adequate fertilizers. Finally we were taught how to tie the new plant with a long bamboo for the tree to grow straight, steady and deep rooted. After a successful campaign, we were given enough refreshments for the hard work we put and travelled back to residence.
