I am the participant in this program with aim to get some new knowledge on video editing.

On 11 to 26 December 2020, the College Student Committee of Kolej Tun Dr. Ismail (JKM KTDI), Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) session 2020/2021 in collaboration with Digital Media and Community has organized a program called Creative Short Video Contest, also called CSVC. The program is open to participants to attend workshops only or competitions to produce creative short videos. The objective of this program is to highlight the talents and creativity of UTM students by producing a short video and improve critical thinking. In this regard, this program opens participation to all UTM residents.

Thinking skills are one of the Graduate Attributes that is being focused on, as thinking develops creativity. To create a high-quality film, we must be creative and willing to study the contents of the application we are using.

The program began with the inauguration of the principal of KTDI, Lt. Col. Prof. Prof. Dr. Mohd Noor Azli Bin Hj. Ali Khan and continued with a Youtube Video Editor workshop presented by Mr. Azizul Bin Azman from Digital Media and Community.

This activity aids in the development of my creative thinking skills. Because I was still new to video editing at the time, I wanted to learn about different platforms for video editing, and this session taught me how to use Youtube Video Maker. This application offers a wide range of settings, making it particularly handy for those who wish to add additional variety to their movie. Because Youtube is the most popular video streaming network, it is important for them to have their own video editing platform. One of the challenges I've had as a result of this class is that it's not easy to follow all of the procedures taught because it's done online. However, I must deal with it as a result of this.
