Report Activity No.1

My roles in this talk is as a participant. As a computer science student, I believe, program that suit me well are those conducted by PERSAKA. I am sure I could gain enough knowledge from this as a listener. The speaker also provide slides that I can refer to. 

This talk was given by Mr. Nazrul Irfanradi, who is a content creator on LinkedIn. He also is one of the receiver for the Top 50 Malaysia Young Talent Awards 2020, awarded by Monsta Asia. This award is given to Malaysian young talent who are very active in their university or in the community.

The goal of this programme is to raise awareness about the importance of personal branding and to provide insight into how to stand out from the crowd when pursuing a career path.

Adaptability is one of the graduate traits that has been highlighted. In order to remain competitive in the job market, we must adapt. As a result, it is critical to explore and search intelligently.

Dr. Iqbal Tariq, PERSAKA advisor, begins the session with a doa recitation and address. Mr. Nazrul Irfanradi began his presentation by giving students a brief overview of the importance of LinkedIn, as well as sharing with us some of the useful functions of LinkedIn that help make their portfolios more appealing.

The speaker also gave us a lot of useful advice on how to stand out from the crowd on LinkedIn so that the employer can simply hire us through that channel. Furthermore, he discussed what were the most crucial items that students should update on LinkedIn, as that network is utilised by businesses to recruit personnel. Many questions were asked of the speaker at the end of the session, as the students were already aware of the necessity of self-branding in the future. Mr. Nazrul Irfanradi calmly addressed all of the questions, and the lecture concluded with a photo session with the speaker, committee members, and attendees.

This discourse has a big impact since it helps students increase their adaptability. It's not easy to live in a world where job hunting has become a competition. Personality is what separates one from the other. How can we promote ourselves to become better persons for our own and community's benefit?

This was a sharing session on which I could concentrate the most because I am really interested in learning more about the LinkedIn platform, which I had not before explored. I quickly create an account and begin upgrading my profile after the session.

Despite the fact that I have already set up my own profile, I still need to devote some time to it and explore it on a daily basis in order for it to become one of my routines. I hope that by doing so, I will be able to assist myself in becoming a more successful person in the future, and that I will be an inspiration to others. I believe that if I start now, it will help me in the long run.
