REFLECTION

As a member of the gift department for Computer Science Sports 2023 (SUSKOM' 23), my responsibilities involved orchestrating the distribution of awards and tokens of appreciation for participants, winners, and volunteers. Navigating through this role, a notable challenge surfaced in ensuring the diversity and appeal of the gifts to both physical and electronic sports enthusiasts within the Faculty of Computer Science. To tackle this challenge, I employed my leadership and critical thinking skills by delving into extensive research on prevailing trends in sports and gaming, aligning the gifts with the diverse interests of our audience.

A pivotal aspect of my approach was collaborative engagement. Working closely with the organizing team, we gathered valuable insights into the preferences of the participants. This collaborative effort allowed us to curate a thoughtful selection of gifts that catered to a broad spectrum of interests, creating a more inclusive and engaging experience for everyone involved. Effective communication and seamless teamwork played a crucial role in surmounting challenges, ensuring a smooth gift distribution process during the SUSKOM' 23 event.

Reflecting on this experience, I recognize the importance of adaptability and a proactive approach in event planning. The ability to synthesize diverse preferences and translate them into a tangible and meaningful experience for participants showcases the impact of thoughtful curation. Ultimately, the success of the gift distribution not only contributed to the positive experience of the SUSKOM' 23 participants but also fostered a sense of community and camaraderie within the Faculty of Computer Science.
