Role in the Activity
Mini Report
Malaysia's Belt and Road Sustainable development, the Chinese Embassy in Malaysia, came to utm to explain the Belt and Road, introduced the development and principles of the Belt and Road, abide by the purposes and principles of the United Nations Charter. Observe the Five Principles of Peaceful Coexistence, namely, respect for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of all countries, non-aggression, non-interference in each other's internal affairs, peaceful coexistence, equality and mutual benefit.
Adhere to openness and cooperation. The countries involved in the Belt and Road Initiative are based on but not limited to the scope of the ancient Silk Road, and all countries and international and regional organizations can participate, so that the fruits of joint construction can benefit a wider region.
Uphold harmony and inclusiveness. We should promote tolerance among civilizations, respect countries' choice of development paths and models, strengthen dialogue among civilizations, seek common ground while shelving differences, tolerate each other, live in peace and prosper together.
Adhere to market operation. We will follow market rules and international norms, give full play to the decisive role of the market in resource allocation and the principal role of various enterprises, and at the same time give full play to the role of the government.
Pursue mutual benefit and win-win results. We should accommodate the interests and concerns of all parties, seek converging interests and the greatest common ground for cooperation, embody the wisdom and creativity of all parties, give full play to each other's strengths and capabilities, and fully leverage each other's strengths and potential.
Self-Reflection
By participating in the Belt and Road activities organized by UTM University Malaysia, I learned that different countries not only need to strive for peaceful development, but also need to adhere to the line of sustainable development. Through the exchanges between the leaders of the two countries, students from different countries can understand the benefits of China's Belt and Road Initiative. Introducing the Belt and Road and the benefits of One Generation and One Road to many students who don't know much about it has greatly improved my communication skills and made me more friends.
