Mini Report
This competition was held during the quarantine period of Movement Control Order (MCO). Therefore, almost everything was performed online. The discussions and meetings were done online by using Whatsapp as a medium of communication. The objective of this competition is to design a new logo for the UTMi Global Buddies where it will be used for future needs. It was a prt of the UTMi Global Buddies plan in which they also plan to make a new official attire for the GBs. The contestants can participate either individually or by group and the winner for this competition will get RM300.00. A lot of students had applied for this contest and most of them took part individually. The competition was held for about a month long and the winner was announced in UTMi Global Buddies official social media platforms.
Self Reflection
For this event, I believe that communication is a very important aspect as everything was held online due to the MCO. I learn that a good two-way communication allows everything to run smoothly. In this case, the Whatsapp platform was fully utilized and everything from planning till winner announcement were made there. Although I am just a member of the bureau, I was able to exert my part and roles to fulfil the responsibilities when handling the program.
