Chemical Gas Engineering
Gas Engineering is a field of profession that involved in many activities such as processing, delivery, distribution, reticulation and gas utilization. Within 4 years study in gas engineering, I can utilize my professional knowledge in term of safety management in petrochemical plant, gas processing distribution and thermodynamics in a gas process. A combination of chemical engineering and gas engineering program make it unique distinct engineering discipline where I can be a chemical engineer as well as gas engineer.
For my career prospect, I can get involved in petrochemical industries, manufacturing industries, governmental and private bodies such as PETRONAS, SHELL, EXXONMOBIL, Energy Commission of Malaysia, and SIRIM, DOSH, NIOSH and consultation firm.
I have very good knowledge in chemical engineering process control and safety management. I am a person who have an experience in chemical design engineering software such as Aspen Hysis, Pro design, Autocad and Matlab. I also have experience in using programming software such as Fotran and C++.
This is the picture where I participated in industrial visit in 2009. The picture was taken at PETRONAS processing plant at Kerteh, Terengganu. From this activity, I was gained an excellent knowledge in gas process procedure and tranmission line.
