Taking an active role as a performer who danced through three captivating songs during the Mid-Autumn Festival Night 2023, organized by The Secretariat of Pesta Tanglung UTM, provided a unique avenue for personal and academic growth. Being part of such cultural events is not merely an option but a vital aspect of shaping one's character and aligning with the Graduate Attributes, particularly emphasizing the development of global citizenship. Through my dance performances, I contributed to the festive spirit and played a significant role in enhancing the holistic development of both myself and the event attendees.
My participation in the Mid-Autumn Festival Night transcended the boundaries of being a spectator; it was a conscious choice to actively contribute to the celebration and community engagement at UTM. The choreography of each dance and the choice of music aimed not only to entertain but also to convey a deeper appreciation for diverse cultural expressions. By showcasing dance forms that draw inspiration from various traditions, I aimed to promote understanding and respect for different artistic perspectives within the UTM community.
The Graduate Attributes, with a focus on the development of global citizenship, were brought to life through the dance performances at the Mid-Autumn Festival Night.
