I was honoured to be the mentor in Programming Clinic 2021.

            Throughout this activity, I had truly enhanced my graduate attributes such as communication skill, thinking skill, scholarship, leadership and teamwork skill, adaptability, and global citizen. It had moulded me into a better person with these enhanced soft skills. I was able to increase my communication skill to deal with more people and also strengthen my critical and analytical thinking skill. It was because I had to communicate with four of my mentees during the teaching session to ensure all of them understood what I had taught.

            Also, I had faced some challenges since it was my first time to be the mentor of an online program. Thus, I had to put my whole attention and effort on it during the program so that I can do my best for it. I would need to prepare the scheme answers of the teaching materials for other mentors. Hence, I did my best for the program to overcome all the challenges such as doing the teaching session and guiding the mentees in a right way.

            All in all, it was a totally new experience for me and I was grateful for having this experience although it was challenging during the progress of the program. I would appreciate for this experience and engrave it in my memory.
