This program is organized by Kelab Pemadam UTM, Pusat Kaunseling UTM, PEMADAM Negeri Johor, PEMADAM Kebangsaan. The main aim of this Webinar is to present and focus on a new initiative from the government, namely a new act (Generational End Game - GEG) that has been created to help in curbing the problem of cigarette, drug and vape addiction in the community. In the webinar, Mrs. Norzima Zaihan, the webinar speaker, showed a very clear and easy-to-understand way of delivery throughout the webinar. The Graduate Attributes to be focused on is global citizen, since the new government policy is developed for controlling the use of cigarettes and vapes among citizens, especially for the new generation that is born after the year 2005. She shares a lot of knowledge about the Generational End Game, such as a new generation born after 2005 will be banned from using cigarettes or vape products unless the law is passed and she has explained the dangers of taking drugs that are come from cigarettes, such as tobacco, nicotine and caffeine will bring the health crisis to people. Also, the economics of the country will be impacted if the workers are keen on using cigarettes and vape products because the burden of treatment costs will increase and workers’ productivity will be dopped. She also opines that the roles of parents in guiding their children about this thing must be emphasized to avoid affecting the future of the younger generation if they are less aware of cigarettes and vapes.
2) Self Reflection:
Through participating in this webinar, it makes an enhanced level to my knowledge and mind that the consumption of cigarettes and vape products is influencing negatively not only individuals’ health conditions but including certain economic and social issues. It leads me to be more prudent and concerned with regard to this matter by performing my duties as a student and also a citizen to not involve myself in taking this kind of product in my life. After that, I will try to disseminate this useful information through face-to-face communication or social media to people surrounding me, especially my dearest family members and close friends who have taken cigarettes to aid them always be aware of the bad effects of smoking. Although the aspiration to help my intimates might not be achieved due to the effectiveness of sharing the information perhaps less powerful and easy to be neglected, I will still try my best to give some advice or try to convince them for decreasing the frequency of using smoking products. The other alternatives for me to increase my effort towards this are I might take part in the activities related to drugs and cigarettes prevention and often help to share the details about the campaigns or talks of reducing drugs and cigarettes consumption that are held by the government organizations or private associations.

This webinar is organized by Kelab Rahman Interactive Student Centre (RAIS) and IEEM Malaysia. The program presents the development of Revolution Industry 4.0 in worldwide workplaces and indicates the positive effects on human working life. The purpose of this webinar is to introduce and explain how Revolution Industry 4.0 relates to graduates when they go for working in the future. The process of how the Revolution of Industry is being developed through early phase and it brings a lot of changes in technology nowadays for the human working environment are well-explained by the speakers. The information of many important technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Big data, Cyber Security and Cloud Computing are implemented in working places during this modern era is shared. This situation makes the people have to adapt and familiarize themselves with modern technologies in the working environment for improving their abilities and become more competitive in their occupation field, which has a connection with one of the Graduate Attributes, Adaptability. Moreover, the speakers interpret the importance of human, technology and ethics in the development of sains and technology especially during the pandemic Covid-19 nowadays as if the ethics or moral is not being emphasized, it will cause a wide range of bad impacts and dangers to humans. Graduates are encouraged to improve themselves with a positive mindset and tend to be disciplined besides adapting themselves to this advanced technology generation when they are working in the future.
2) Self Reflection:
After joining this beneficial webinar, I was inspired and realized that the modern technologies application and knowledge are necessary for me who is a university student and will be entering the working environment soon after graduation. I was also having a better understanding of the types of modern technologies commonly used in the working industry and fully depending on manual work or operations is no longer happened in the future, mostly working in the combination of human and smart technology such as AI robots. I also get know the advantages of modern technologies application in working industries. Thus, this webinar boosts me to equip myself with better knowledge and skills in applying the advanced technologies as a preparation for me to initiate and adapt to the working environment in my future. Even though the process of learning and to be expert in using these modern technologies is not easy for me, I will keep improving my capability and increase my input in adapting the application of modern technologies by watching the related videos or maybe ask for the lecturer if there has a subject which is teaching about the information technology. Attending any related talks or other kinds of activities that can help in building up technology application skills in myself will be paying close attention too.

The organizer of this webinar is Kelab Kaunseling Dan Kerjaya UTM. This informative webinar is an educational and career talk on enhancing the opportunity for graduates to get future jobs. The objectives of this webinar are to reveal to the students the importance of having a skill certificate after graduation and describe the useful techniques to increase performance during an interview. The speaker has indicated the reasons and importance of having certification among students such as certification can differentiate a person from others in the occupation field, grow someone’s knowledge and skills level and improve one’s confidence and reputation to become a professional in a certain industry. One of the primary considerations among students is certification results in high income being discussed and according to the information shared by the speaker, it shows that the certification makes a higher salary compared to those who are not certified and the possibility to be recruited by employers is high especially to particular industry fields including Information Technology and Services, Accounting, Engineering, Computer Software and Designing. In addition, the recommended way delivered by the speaker to students in UTM to start with certification is through participating in the courses offered in UTM Professional Skill Certificate Courses which are free to enhance self-knowledge and ability in a certain field. For enhancing the students' interview performance, there are some important details are displayed such as the ordinary requirements of the interviewer, types of the job interview, types of job interview questions and useful strategies for the time before, during and after an interview. By Joining this program, it is indicating that one of the Graduate Attributes is related, which is Communication Skills as the beneficial skills shared for job interviewing can increase the delivery of ideas and opinions to the interviewer.
2) Self Reflection:
By attending this webinar, it brings a good understanding to be related to the importance and value of certification in jobs occupied after graduation. Certification for me, who is a Real Estate student is really significant for getting a job with a better income in this professional industry. Also, I have instilled the useful techniques when attending my future job interview which helps me to develop better performance and be well-mannered and able to carry a fluent communication with the interviewer. This makes me gain knowledge about communication skills, which is an important skill from Graduate Attributes. However, when facing a real interview in the future, I might not be able to carry out myself with the application of such good techniques that gained from the webinar because I am a person who is easy to be nervous when facing many unknown people and not very confident in giving an opinion, due to afraid of getting mistakes. To improve my weaknesses, I will start with often communicating and changing the ideas related to the academic work such as group assignments with team members to train myself to be brave in expressing my own opinions. I will also be trying to learn some tips to aid me in easing my tense mood and anxiety during the presentation in class in order to improve my bravery at the time confronting many numbers of people, attending a job interview in the future and any other big or important occasion.
