It was really a meaningful online talk where I get to learn about Basic Offshore Safety Induction & Emergency Training (BOSIET), something I have never heard of before. I was exposed to knowledge and the course of actions when an emergency happens and some fun facts as well. Who knows, emergency jackets have an expiration date as well. I also learned about types of offshore hazards which included pressure hazard, chemical hazard and electrical hazard. All in all, it was really a good and fruitful experience as I personally really think that the society really lacks knowledge on first aid and safety. These knowledge are important and can make a great impact on the community as we can not only save ourselves with these knowledge, but also we can save others.
