Mini Report
On 4th of May 2019, I had participated 23rd Losting Music Convention which was held at Dewan Sultan Iskandar UTM by Losting Music Club UTM. The theme for the music convention was ‘Heartz’. "Heartz" wished to convey a message that through music, we could revel in the astonishing peaks and valleys in our little train on a track called life and appreciate all the good things along our journey.
Flying Dance Studio UTM were being invited to perform dances on the stage of music convention, as one of the committee, I had performed three songs on that night. The song that I had performed were “1999”, “Crown” and “ShengPiZi” which were E-pop, K-pop and C-pop dances respectively. This event had helped me to strengthen my leadership, communicating, thinking and team working skills because I needed to ensure all the dance performances could go well including take part in adjusting the light effects throughout the whole dance performances.
The achievement of this event is that we are able to generate our fund for our dancing club and strengthen the relationship with the other club through collaboration of music.

Self-Reflection
In the dance performance in this event, I was the person-in-charged for the song “1999” which took part in creating the choreography, then teaching and leading the whole team dance performers for this song. During practicing, I always concerned about the team members’ mood and condition when they were unable to follow the steps or had practiced for a long time, since dancing consumed energy and required strong stamina. This had strengthen my leadership and team working skills.
Next, the Chinese song “ShengPiZi” was live performed by a singer from Losting Music Club and we were giving a back dancing to the song at the same stage. This song was performed with a red Chinese fan and traditional costume to match and convey the culture through our dances. We had used one month to practice and rehearsal since we accepted this invitation. This had increase my adaptability, scholarship, communicating and thinking skills so that we could manage our time on studies and able to cooperate nicely with the singer. Besides, this performance was a paid event which definitely involved our enterprising skills to generate fund for our dance club.
