I was so happy when I get enrolled to UTM to pursue a degree in computer science (data engineering course). I had doubts on whether this is the right path for me since I am a pure science student and had zero knowledge and no computer science basics, but I know that this course is a very good course to pursue because I foresee a lot of job opportunities and potential in the future with computer science field. Together with the development of Industrial Revolution 4.0, this data usage will contribute to the society and the world greatly. All in all, I am still adapting myself to my new university life, looking forward to a very wonderful 4 years here.

For my pre-university studies, I studied Malaysian Matriculation Programme in Malacca Matriculation College. I was in Module 1 in which the core subjects studied were Mathematics, Biology, Physics and Chemistry. My time there was brief, short (around 11 months) but meaningful and colourful as I got to learn to be independent (living at hostels provided far away from home and parents' care) and also improved on many skills such as communication skills and soft-skills (a lot of works and assignments there require teamwork). I also get to learn about many different cultures in Malaysia (the students are multiracial and we all study together and carry out activities together happily). I am very happy and grateful to have scored a 4.0 CGPA for my matriculation programme.

I studied in SMJK Sam Tet from Form 1 until Form 5. In general, my secondary school is the place where I start to develop my strengths and skills as the school provides a platform for me to discover my potential and interests. I joined a lot of activities throughout my 5 years there, to name a few, I joined the symphony orchestra and the school band. For my Pentaksiran Tingkatan Tiga (PT3), I managed to achieve 9A's whereas for my Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) examinations I achieved straight A's (10A's).

I studied in SJK(C) Sam Tet for my primary school education. I managed to achieve a straight A's result (7A's) for my Ujian Pencapaian Sekolah Rendah (UPSR) examinations in 2012.

After I finished my matriculation programme at Malacca, once again I worked as a waiter at The Limestone's Restaurant at Regalodge Hotel Ipoh. The restaurant had renovations and included Chinese cuisine such as dim sum. During my two months here I take orders and serve the customers, and I also learnt to make beverages and had the opportunity to learn how to do coffee art.

After my SPM examinations in November 2017, I started to work as a waiter in The Limestone's Restaurant at Regalodge Hotel Ipoh. My job was mainly to take orders and serve the customers. I learnt a lot of skills such as being patient and improved my communication skills there.
