Group Project Reflection
Firstly, I would like to thank my PSDA lecturer, Dr Sharin. She is a warm-hearted and responsible educator who guides us to complete our group project. The title of my group project is Countries Data Analysis.
I have enhanced my understanding of the knowledge I learnt from the class lessons through this project such as hypothesis testing, correlation, regression, Chi-square test and ANOVA. Before we start to do the project, I studied all the related topics to discuss with my group members on deciding the variables that are suitable for the tests. After that, I am in charge of the hypothesis testing part. In practical, I have learnt how to make a suitable null hypothesis and alternative hypothesis by referring to the dataset. For the project, I think the most challenging part is to draw the hypothesis test graph using RStudio software. I have referred to all the R programming slides that Dr provided, Cookbook for R and youtube videos to learn the methods of drawing the graph. It is the first time I learnt to draw graph via programming, and it is very interesting as well as productive. Even though I have stuck on drawing the graph few days to figure out the solution, I feel worth for this learning process as I always learn from my mistake. Moreover, the prominent skill I gained from this project is R programming. The project has implicitly stimulated me to master it in a short time. Now R programming becomes one of my skills. I am grateful that Dr Sharin have planned such group project for my class, and it is very beneficial to me as I might still do not know how to draw graph via R programming if the absence of group project.
To conclude, I have learnt the process of doing a statistical test and gain a lot of knowledge through practical experience in the group project.
