Mini Report
The organizer of activity 'Care 2Invest' is SMART UTM. The reason why I joined this activity is because it is so attract to me and can gain some knowledge about the financial. The speaker of this talk is Mr. Mohammad 'Abqory Bin Abdullah. He is an agency supervisor of Public Mutual as Unit Trust Consultant.
From this talk, I am exposed to personal financial management. The speaker has explained to us about the effect of an economic instability. He stated that, an inflation is the silent killer to our finances. He also led us think about the importance in maintaining our personal finance properly. Furthermore, he briefed about an investment which he thought it is another better way to improve everyone's personal finances.
The graduate attributes that are focused in this talk are thinking skills, global citizen and enterprising skills. The speaker enabled the participants to think about the importance in managing own personal finances and share about current economic reputation. Also, he stated some global issues like inflation which occurred during this Covid-19 pandemic and mentioned about how important to improve and manage our own daily finances.
Self-reflection
From this talk, I learn more about the financial knowledge which I had never touched it before. The graduate attributes that I had gained from this talk are thinking skills, global citizen and enterprising skills.
First and foremost, the speaker led well in the talk which enabled me start to think about the current economic situation which involved my thinking skills. Moreover, the speaker exposed the global situation and noticed which inflation is a very serious issue. Hence, I was starting to alert about the global issues and follow up on the latest information about the current situation. Lastly, I also learn about some enterprising skills which are the ways of investing from the speaker. Through this activity, I can ensure that I have a more secure and regular income which protects me from facing financial problems. This allows me to think more deeply about certain plans for working with others.
Lastly, since I do not have any income, so I am facing difficulties in investing. However, I will still keep and remember these information until one day I start to invest and also share this investment information with my families and friends together to invest.
