In this activity, my role was to be a participant. As a first-time learner, I took longer to understand the basics of the overall sharing session. I have gained a basic understanding after being exposed to Filmora Wondershare throughout the sharing session.
Mini Report
"Sharing Session: How to Edit Video using Filmora Wondershare?" is an event organised by the School of Graduate Studies (SPS UTM) in collaboration with the Post Graduate Student Society UTM (PGSS UTM). The course aimed to provide insights on how to edit video using the Filmora Wondershare software. The speaker, Mr. Muhammad Ramziuddin Zakaria, who is the former President of the PGSS Faculty of Science and Executive Committee of PGSS UTM, has given very clear instructions on introducing the steps to using Filmora Wondershare as a beginner. This activity has the role of nurturing UTM graduate attributes, including communication skills, thinking skills, and adaptability. By joining this activity, abilities such as the ability to use a variety of media in presentations, the ability to look for alternative ideas and creative solutions, and the ability to initiate and implement change can be cultivated. The activities carried out throughout the whole sharing session consisted of the sharing of steps and tips to use video editing software, Filmora Wondershare, by the speaker and a question and answer session carried out between the participants and the speaker.

"Sharing Session: How to Edit Video Using Filmora Wondershare?" is the first postgraduate programme that I joined via Cisco Webex Meeting. Filmora Wondershare is a totally new software to me since the architecture work in year one is completed manually and does not require any online editing skills. I pre-registered for this event when I saw the poster on Facebook, hoping that I could have some basic exposure to professional video editing software that might help in my second and third-year assignments. The friendly speaker shared his knowledge and tips with us as beginners and welcomed any questions from the participants. Even though it took me longer to understand the basics since this was my first exposure to Filmora Wondershare, I still feel grateful to be able to join this event to broaden my knowledge. This event has nurtured my ability to use a variety of media in presentations, my ability to 'think outside the box', and my ability to recognise the potential for improvement. By joining this event, I have been exposed to professional video editing software ahead of my assignments, which helps me better understand other video editing tools at the same time. One of the challenges that I met in this event was that I took slightly longer than the others to understand editing tools and skills, but I still persisted in wanting more exposure.
