Industrial Talk 1
Mr. Nazri Edham, Head of Product Design at TM Commercial, was the first to speak. The topic of this presentation was the Fourth Industrial Revolution. He began by emphasising the revolutionary 5G internet, which will be beneficial to businesses. Mobile bandwidth will be increased, and ultra-reliable, low-latency connections will be available. He also emphasised the transition from 1G to 5G internet, which is the most recent technology. The city's transportation, accessibility, social services, and sustainability will all benefit from this new technology. Finally, a quicker internet connection will allow people to stay connected regardless of where they are, making their lives easier.
Industrial Talk 4
Dr. Ruzimi Mohamed will deliver the fourth industrial talk. The Industrial Revolution will be defined in this lecture, as well as the advantages of AR. The phrase "augmented reality" refers to a device that creates a composite vision by superimposing a computer-generated image on a user's perspective of the real world. By 2025, augmented reality will earn the highest revenue (11.6 billion), followed by healthcare (5.1 billion) and engineering (5.1 billion) (4.7billion). Projectile-based AR, marker-based AR, and superimposition-based AR are the three types of AR. Apart from that, he emphasises the rise of augmented reality, which has captivated users of worldwide social media platforms like Snapchat and Instagram.
Industrial Talk 7
Microsoft Power Business Intelligence, often known as Microsoft Power BI, is a data warehouse solution that includes data discovery, data management, data preparation, and an interactive dashboard to show users our data and explain how it was gathered. We may use a browser to download Microsoft Power BI, and there is a free edition for new users to learn how to use the tools in Microsoft Power BI to generate data visualisations. To create data, we must first import information from Microsoft Excel and SQL servers, then paste it into a blank table to convert it to data sets, models, and reports before converting it to data visualisation.
Industrial Talk 2
The second industry presentation was given by Ms. Sarah Khadijah Taylor, Project Manager of Cybersecurity Malaysia. Her theme was cybersecurity, and she delivered a talk about it. She started by describing the concerns and challenges Malaysia faces in terms of cybersecurity. The two sides of this conundrum are excessive investment costs and demand. The former is concerned with Malaysia's supply, infrastructure, governance, and training providers, whilst the latter is concerned with all Malaysians' innovation and awareness. There are several approaches that can be employed to overcome these problems. Our government must first urge investors to invest in industry 4.0 technologies and procedures. As a result, Malaysia should foster an environment that is conducive to Industry 4.0.
Industrial Talk 5
The sixth presentation was given by Mr. Gog Bih Der, CommScope Malaysia's System Engineer. His talk focuses on Network Infrastructure Emerging Technologies. "Traditional network infrastructure is antiquated and incapable of matching the rise and demand for high-tech connectivity at a time when we want simplicity of use and no internet connection issues when conducting business or other activities," he explained. "The cyber world's process of collecting and storing large amounts of data would be disrupted and hampered by the connection of this technology." Finally, he believes that the technology that permits internet connectivity is vital and that it should be recognised and acknowledged if we are to continue growing and capitalising on technology in the future.
Industrial Talk 3
Dr. Quasy Al- Maatouk gave the third presentation. He spoke about a variety of topics, the most important of which was cloud computing. Cloud computing refers to the internet-based provision of computing power, databases, storage, software, and other IT resources on a pay-as-you-go basis. Cloud computing is a sort of computing that makes use of Amazon Web Services (AWS) to give cloud computing services to organisations and individuals in order to keep their data safe and secure. AWS services are categorised into groups, each of which includes one or more services. Our company's goals and technological requirements influence the services we choose. AWS services are categorised into groups, each of which includes one or more services.
Industrial Talk 6
In industry talk 6, Mr. Nicholas Yong, Huawei Enterprise Business's Executive Industry Solution Manager for Asia Pacific Region, presented a presentation. 5G, WiFi 6, and Emerging Network Technologies was his title. WiFi 6 has increased bandwidth by 2.8 times, according to him. As a result, internet connection coverage expands, allowing people to access the internet from everywhere. WiFi 6 also provides a high-speed uplink and downlink experience, with uplink and downlink speeds of over 1Gbit/s. WiFi 6 has reduced latency and anti-interference due to improved technologies and superior software. All WiFi 6 clients will benefit from these enhancements because they will have a speedier internet connection while carrying out their daily activities and jobs.
