TECHNOLOGY & INFORMATION SYSTEMS

Technology & Information System is a course for the School of Computing, UTM. It introduces us to the basic components of information and technology systems. Through this course we came to know  about the storage devices, input - output devices, different type of software, operating systems, database  and also introduction to programming language. These are all the basics one needs to know to work with a computer.

As we are doing our program of software engineering, it is must for us to know about the basics of technology and information. The course is also structured properly. It is mostly assignment based and most of the assignments are based on groups. So we also earned an experience of working together as groups and respecting each others' opinion. I think this course is very important for the bachelors degree from School of Computing.
