On October 22nd, the University Technology Malaysia held a carnival. I had an unforgettable experience there. You could not only meet new people, but also join different clubs and societies. This event was filled with a lot of activities. Each booth had its own thing going on like dancing, gaming tournaments, karaoke, and talent shows. What made each booth unique was that they were all decorated to match the theme of their respective club or society, and representatives were ready for any questions.
The whole place was lively and inviting too. You couldn’t help but partake in whatever activities were available and everyone made sure you didn’t feel left out. Beyond just fun though, this event exposed you to all the clubs and societies UTM has to offer. The booths had information on every aspect of their respective groups so you could get an understanding of what they’re trying to do and if it’s something you’d be interested in joining later.
In conclusion, the UNBOCS Carnival was an amazing event that gave me the chance to make new friends, learn more about the many clubs and societies and engage in exciting activities. It was a truly outstanding event, and I eagerly anticipate my participation in the next edition.
