SECP1513-01 Technology and Information System

This subject has taught me various things. I learnt how to write and differentiate between report and article because we have assignments that focused on that such as the Report on PC Assembly and the articled on Industrial Talk. Other than that, I learnt how to finding and writing main points from talks as we had several Industrial Talks held throughout the semester, and we have to do article, poster and also report based on them. 

On top of that, this subject also enhanced my thinking skills as we had the Design Thinking assignment where my team made an application called the Hygiene Manager. We also had an interview with a staff from UTM. Looking back, it was nerve-racking because we did it during the early part of our semester, and we did not have any experience on doing anything officially in UTM as we were in our first semester of the first year. It was indeed a great experience for me.

Other than that, for each chapter of the subject, Dr. asked us to present it by ourselves to the class. Thus, we had deeper understanding on the chapter because we had to understand it beforehand to explain it to the class. We were also asked to made several videos, hence we developed the creativity and skill to make sure the points can reach the audience.

The assignments given were mostly group assignment, thus I developed teamworking and leadership skill together with my groupmates. There were ups and downs, but we learnt how to solve it by ourselves and we realised the importance of good communication between the group.

Lastly, I would like to say thank you to Dr. Azurah and my classmates for being helpful and supportive throughout the semester. It was a great memory indeed.
