    First, it is very thankful I had the oppoturnity to take Project Management in my final semester.

     I would like to thank to my Project Management lecturer, Dr. Rozana. She have been taught me patiently in Project Management. During these 3 days Microsoft Project Workshop, she taught us kindly and explained to us nicely.

    Microsoft Project Software is very useful and efficient in planning and scheduling. This software provides a platform for the scheduler to plan their project systematically. It seems that many professional schedulers prefer the functionality of MS Project.

     Through these 3 days, I had learned about the basic function of MS Project. Dr. Rozana taught us how to this software in scheduling, planning, estimating until the outcoming of report. My group and Ihave been given a task to schedule a project and estimate the cost of the project. It is quite tough to complete the project within 3 days. Therefore, our teamworking is needed.

    Our group, we were assignned to plan and schedule for a project, which is to construct a double-storey house. Based on the Bill of Quantity (BQ), we need to identify the items or descriptions of the project, and fill it into the schedule of project. Besides, we were learn about allocating resources, funds, and time, as well as tracking progress from start to completion of project. Hence, time is limited but cooperation between all the members are important to complete the project.

     After 3 days of workshop, I had been learnt how to manage and to monitor the work progress through Gantt chart. Besides, I also able to estimate the cost by assigned the resources such as list of the people, equipment, material resources and cash flow. I wish that  I can explore more and learn more advance on the way to use MS Project Software which will benefit me in the future not only in planning construction project but also in many others project.

     On the other hands, I really enjoyable and appreciate the moment with my coursemates. This trip able to make our relationship closer. We learned, we slept, we laughed,we did, we ate together. It is memorable and enjoyable. Thanks friends! Thanks Lecturer! Thanks FKA! Thanks UTM!
