DESIGN THINKING

Design thinking is a strategic problem solving process consisting five stages, which are empathies, define, ideate, prototype and test. 

PROTOTYPE 

REFLECTION

Throughout the design thinking, I gained more knowledge on the technology and information systems and also learned the process of design thinking. Design thinking made me to think from the users' view and create a product to fulfill their needs, which is a very meaningful experience. 

PC ASSEMBLY 

PC Assembly is a basic knowledge we should know as a computer science student. In this assignment, we included the tools needed for PC assembly, the basic components and sketch of motherboard, as well as the steps of PC assembly.

SKETCH OF MOTHERBOARD LAYOUT

REFLECTION

This assignments helped me understand more on PC assembly as we do research on the steps on PC assembly and also the tools needed. Besides that, we also learned on the basic components of motherboard and drew the sketch of motherboard layout. This helped to increase my knowledge on PC and also motherboard.

CLOUD COMPUTING 

In this assignment, we required to do research on the cloud computing service provider which are Microsoft Azure, Amazon EC2 and Google Cloud. Besides that, the comparison between the service providers on various aspects is done in this assignments.

REFLECTION

This assignment help me to develop my skills on doing research and I gained so much of knowledge related to cloud computing such as their service models, the features, as well as the cloud service and cloud model.

Industrial Talk 01 is about the previous industrial revolution, the current industrial revolution 4.0 as well as the trend of future.

REFLECTION 

After listening to the industrial talk, I gained more knowledge on the industrial revolution and I realized we are still adopting to the fourth industrial revolution. During this epidemic of COVID-19, it helps to develop the education 4.0 as well as e-commerce 4.0 in another way, This talk inspired me to study harder and gain more knowledge in order to contribute to the industrial revolution in the future.

Industrial Talk 02 is about the project management, including the characteristics, process, environment and also the project management trending.  

REFLECTION

After participating in this talk, I was inspired by the speaker to be passionate in every project to achieve what we aimed for, and we need to push ourselves to work harder for goals. I also learned that when emotions take over our thinking process, we cannot view the situation realistically and objection. 

INDUSTRIAL TALK 03 : INSPIRING WORK EXPERIENCE

Title : Inspiring Work Experience And COVID- 19 Pandemic Challenge

Speakers : Johanna Ahmad, Tan Yong Keong, Qistina Batrisya and Mohamad Zamarul Akmal bin Mohd Hussin

Throughout the talk, the alumnus are interviewed by the moderator and questions are asked by the students for sharing of university and career experiences. 

REFLECTION

After listening to the sharing of alumnus, I realized that I should always improve myself on the soft skills and hard skills during my university life, but not muddle along the study years. The alumnus also inspired me to be brave to engage in more activities or project as well as competitions to get more experience, and this may help in getting employed in the future.
