POSITION IN ACTIVITIES
I am a participant in this event, I consistently adhere to the guidelines and instructions provided by the committee members. I actively engage in the activities by actively contributing towards the goals of the event through my participation, involvement, and collaboration.
MINI REPORT
CID'22 is a program which participated by 1st year and 2nd year SECVH students. The primary goal of CID'22 is to create an interactive and enjoyable environment where first-year and second-year SECVH students can connect, collaborate, and build friendships. By participating in the program, students have the opportunity to engage in team-building activities, games, and other interactive sessions that promote interaction and bonding.
Activity in CID'22
The CID'22 program commenced with an introduction from the organizing committee, providing an overview of the event. Participants were then divided into several groups. The first game played was cup stacking, where the objective was to carefully stack cups in a specific order using a rope and hook. This game required coordination, dexterity, and problem-solving skills.
The second game involved inducing opponents to say the word on their head, emphasizing quick thinking to avoid losing. After a break and lunch, the activities shifted to Tasik Ilmu. The third game was One-Legged Tag, where participants hopped or jumped on one leg while attempting to tag others, maintaining balance and avoiding falling. Our group achieved second place, demonstrating responsiveness and stamina.
Next, the Flour Face Challenge took place. As the person in the front, I suggested a special technique to handle the flour, and our group communicated effectively to minimize flour spillage. Following that, we enjoyed kayaking in Tasik Ilmu. It was a novel and memorable experience for me, as it was my first time kayaking. Kayaking required stamina and technique to avoid capsizing.
Finally, the award ceremony took place in the evening, where our group received the second prize. We concluded the event with a photography session to capture our memorable moments. Despite feeling tired, we felt a great sense of happiness and fulfillment.
SELF-REFLECTION
Through the various games and challenges, several key attributes were nurtured and strengthened. One of the significant impacts was on teamwork and communication skills. Engaging in activities like cup stacking, inducing opponents, and one-legged tag required effective collaboration and clear communication within our group. By working together and exchanging ideas, we were able to accomplish tasks more efficiently and overcome obstacles. The program also fostered critical thinking and problem-solving skills. The cup stacking game, for example, demanded careful coordination and precision to successfully stack the cups without knocking them over. It challenged us to think strategically and find the most effective techniques to complete the task. Similarly, the game of inducing opponents relied on quick thinking and creativity to guide them away from saying the forbidden words.
Personally, I found that my strength during the activities lay in adaptability and resilience. I was able to quickly adjust my approach and strategies based on the evolving circumstances of each game. This allowed me to effectively contribute to my team's success and adapt to different roles and responsibilities.
Nevertheless, there were challenges throughout CID'22. One of the challenges we faced during CID'22 was unexpected rain when we want to go kayaking. Fortunately, it was raining for a while only, as it allowed us to proceed with the kayaking activity. Besides, the second challenge is lack of transportation. We were tired after we walking to the Tasik Ilmu from KTDI. However, despite the tired, walking also presented an opportunity to appreciate the beautiful scenery and surroundings of UTM.
