MINI REPORT
INDIAN CULTURAL FIESTA MUTTAMIZH PANPADDU VIZHA 2022 (MPV'23) is an international program organized by Persatuan Mahasiswa Hindu (PMH). This program is a collaboration between PMH and other Malaysian Public Universities, including UM, UMT, UTHM, UniMap, and ASIA PACIFIC (Sri Lanka University).
The event featured various competitions related to Tamil language and culture, inviting primary, secondary, and university students to participate and showcase their enthusiasm for Tamil language and culture.
The program spanned a specific period, during which a total of 21 competitions were organized, with seven competitions falling under each category. Some of the competitions included rangoli kolam competition, public speaking competition, debate competition, gramiya nadanam competition, and more.
Being the first hybrid program, I participated in after the pandemic, it provided me with the opportunity to experience organizing a physical event alongside my university peers.

SELF REFLECTION
I joined in the middle of the program when the recruitment form for the extra crew was distributed. I was hesitant since it will be my first time joining a hybrid program. I was placed in the marketing department. It was a struggle to catch up with the tasks but I manage to cope with the help of the Head of the Department and the Vice director in charge. I faced several challenges, mainly the lack of communication. Due to many of us in the department, the Head of the Department lacked in giving clear instructions but I tried helping the HOD by passing the required information precisely to those in charge. Besides that, several of the crew are involved online. Thus, there was a lack of manpower but the other department crew was able to lend a hand whenever we need help.
This program has taught me to implement critical thinking and teamwork skills beyond my capabilities. Figuring out fast and effective solutions was the key to making the program a success. I have also improved my creative side by doing brochures and fun posters.
In conclusion, the program was a success despite several obstacles. However, I was delighted with the opportunity that was given to me. I gained great memories with my fellow crew members and new experiences from the physical program. It was a joy to work physically after the pandemic gap.
