SCSR Family Day is a program that divided into two(2) activities which are Spring Cleaning at day and BBQ at night. This program was held on 6^th March 2020 for the whole day when I was in year 1 of semester 2. Student can volunteer either to join one of the activities or join both of them. I decided to join both activities since I am bit excited to participate in that program since it was the my first time join this SCSR Family Day.  The main objective of this program is to build better relationships among the SCSR students. As the outcome of the activities, I gained two graduate attributes which are Leadership and teamworking skills, and adaptability since students have to organize the program by themselves. From cleaning and decorating out building faculty, N28 at level 2 in the morning and then move to preparation of BBQ in the evening. However, our beloved coordinator course, Miss Marina always with the students to monitor and guide us throughout the program. It such a good events because we can know our seniors more closely when we do these activities together.

I really enjoyed doing all the activities because it much fun when you doing together with new people. During this program, I was improved my team work skills since I personally learned on how to work in a group effectively when organized an event and how important it is to includes everyone in every tasks to complete the mission. However, we still facing some challenges during the program including lack of time to preparing the BBQ and another challenge for me is to work with the seniors because that was the first time we met. But, we accomplished to manage the program together because all the seniors very kind and friendly. I learned how to adapt and reach out to the new people in a short period. A corporate barbecue isn’t just about eating, of course. It’s about getting to know your colleagues and forging meaningful experiences. We need to tidy up the space where the program took place despite being late at night and all the committees already tired. Everyone gave their best effort and corporate to ensure the program goes successfully. It such a good event for me because I am able improve the engagement among the students and the lecturers.
