Reflection - PSDA project 2

In project 2 in the PSDA subject, we were required to do a different inference statistical analysis that we learned during class in a given dataset using R programming. Me and my group members Ameera and Maisarah cooperated together on this project and it has been completed successfully. Throughout this project, I have learned many things and it has also helped to develop some personal skills. Teamworking and communication skills is one of the essential skills that is required for this and it is one of the skills that I learned in this project. It is not possible to achieve the main goal of this project without effective communication skills with the group members. By the end of this project, I feel I will be able to communicate better in future projects. Besides that, I learned how to use R programming to do statistical analysis and use it effectively. It was difficult at first but after some time I find it easier and easier to use. Time management is always has been challenging for me, but in this time, I managed my time more effectively even though there were many other assignments and projects we were required to do at the same period of time. Lastly, I would like to say thanks to our amazing Dr, Dr. Nies Hui Wen, she is very helpful and always make things easy to understand. She always cares about her students; she also extended our project when many students couldn’t complete it on time. We really appreciate all that effort.
What is your goal/dream concerning your course/program?

A- My goal is to pass all the in this semester with the highest marks is possible. My ambition is to develop my hard and soft skills throughout my journey at UTM.
B- I learned many things from this project. It has thought me that we can solve any problem no matter how hard it is with the right way of thinking. We will know the real purpose of the project after graduate and start our career. We will find out how useful and easy it is to solve big problems using the design thinking processes.
C- I think that the most important thing is to keep on learning even after graduation and never give up. Also, trying to read books that is related to my field and keeping up with the latest technology and development in the industry.

Computer Network and Security is an interesting program that is getting more important day by day because we are becoming more dependent on technology in our life especially after the Covid-19 pandemic. That is why I am very interested in cybersecurity filled. Now I am about to finish my first semester and I learned a lot of things, more than I expected. My favorite subjects for this semester are PT1 because l love programing and now I am learning C++ in this subject, and digital logic I am always curios how things work and in this subject, I am learning the basic fundament of how the computer work.

With the first industrial revolution, human life has dramatically changed, and the way we produce things developed much better compared to the way it was. In the 19th and 20th centuries, the 2nd and 3rd industrial revolutions happened and have seen many other new technologies existed such as computers and automobiles. Now, we are implementing the 4th industrial revolution and we are changing faster than ever before.
Our industrial talk 1 was focused on the industrial revolution 4 (IR 4.0). The speaker has mentioned some of the components that represent the IR 4.0 such as Autonomous Robots, IoT, Big Data, and Augmented Reality. Autonomous Robots are machines that can perform tasks without the help of human control. With cloud computing we can use network servers that are hosted on the internet to store, manage, and process our data. The IoT connects everything in our life to the internet, our cars, home, and all our digital devices. Also, he explained how Malaysia is preparing for the future with all the new projects that are going on such as the 5G, smart city, smart tourism, and smart agriculture.
All in all, the world is always changing and always there a new technology is coming. It has many benefits in our life but it also can affect people’s job. The industry talk was full of valuable information about the technology industry which will be so helpful for us in the near future.
Industry talk 2 was about IT project management and the importance of project management. The speaker started the session by the definition of a project and covered the areas of project management which are time, cost, quality, scope, risk, and benefits. Then, he shared some of his experiences and explained some examples and principles of IT project management. Finally, he gave us an idea about the process of managing the projects. By doing this repot we have learned so much about project management and we can apply this knowledge in real-life problems.
