Self Reflection
It sounds like the CS department at UTM places a strong emphasis on helping first-year students feel comfortable and succeed in their studies. The FYE programs are designed to help students connect with faculty, get involved in the department, and start to feel at home on campus.
There are several resources available to first-year students, including academic guidelines by Mazura Mat Din, survival guides by Marina Md Arshad, extra knowledge by Hazinah Kutty Mammi, and a guide to places by Raja Zahilah. Additionally, there are templates available for calculating iCGPA and forecasting grades, as well as a specific template for the SCSR1013 Digital Logic course.
As a first-year student, it's important to take advantage of these resources and to ask questions if we need help or
clarification. Getting involved in the department and on campus can also be a great way to meet new people and
make the most of My college experience.
