NYLC - 2019
In the first semester of UTM , I found this organisation AIESEC ,
AIESEC is the world's largest youth-run organization. It is an international non-governmental and Not-for-profit that provides young people with leadership development, cross-cultural any internships, and volunteer exchange globalist experiences.
The content of this organisation attracted me as I am a person who always want to improve myself .
Therefore , I joined AIESEC .
In 27-30 September 2019 , AIESEC organised Nothern Youth Leadership Conference (NYLC) and I decided to join this conference to learn more about AIESEC and leadership.
A total of 23 people from AIESEC Johor Bahru entered this conference including me .
This conference is mainly about journey to understand ourselves and understand AIESEC , and most importantly have the right attitude to improve ourselves and the right attitude to accomplish something ( our goals ).
There are sessions in these 3 days which provide us a platform to more understand ourselves . There are some professionals , some people with experience giving talks on the stage to provide us knowledge .Small activity session were also held to expose us to teamwork spirit and leadership qualities.
In this conference , I learned alot of things
1) How AIESEC works
2) Leadership
3) Be brave to engage to someone
4) Steps to get things done
5) How to manage stress
6) Life's wonderful and full of love <3
I think the most importantly , I can get to know alot of people from different culture and races . Life is great again .
One of the activity during the conference is we are required to interview strangers on the street about the climate change and the haze happened during that period .
Did Haze cause them trouble ? How much do you know about climate change ? Do you know Sustainable Development Goal ( SDG ) 13 ?
Those were some of the examples of question we asked during the interview .
The main point is to increase the public awareness about the environment issues and more importantly it require us to be brave to step up to engage total strangers and have a good and smooth interview session with them .

Of course there are still other activities and session but I will not explain here in detail .
One activity that I will not forget during this conference is the Appreciation Space .
This is where I start to see actually this world is caring and full of love .
We expressed our love to the new friends we met there .
We hugged , we say goodbye to each other , we cried . Let those be the best memories in our life even though it only last 3 days .
There will surely be a chance that we will meet again .
It was very heart warming to get those letter written from people I just met few days ago . =' D
