Love in Chinese word is 爱 (ai). People get love since they are born. For example, we get parents' love, elder's love, sibling’s love, friends' love, puppy love and then finally we found our true love. After marriage, we can get child’s love from our own kids.

But the title that we focused during our discussion is puppy love.

Puppy love is an informal term for feelings of romantic or platonic love, often felt during childhood and adolescence. It is named for its resemblance to the adoring, worshipful affection that may be felt by a puppy. It may also be able to describe short-term love interest. This feeling will usually disappear as the young person becomes older.

According to Daily-News, (Roxanne Khamsi), puppy love makes teenagers lose the plot. The lovestruck teenagers showed many behaviours resembling “hypomania” – a less intense form of mania. For example, they required about an hour less sleep each night than teens who didn’t have a sweetheart. They were also more likely to report acting compulsively, with 60% saying they spent too much money compared with fewer than 30% of teenagers who were not in love. The reasons behind is teenager couple spent money on dating with their partner for having meals, shopping and travels. It also spent on preparing presents to their partner for the purpose of ceremony celebration.

Why the teenagers fall in love during adolescence stage？They are curious about what is love and they always having the thinking which is “try”. Being of their unmatured thinking, they try to know what is love so that they find someone and fall in love with the person. Basically, they find their partner among their friends who they have good impressions on him or her. Besides, they are influenced by peers and social media such as Korean drama which is always romantic and makes teenager have a wonderful imagine towards love and relationship.

The impacts of having puppy love have two faces. If the girls find a guy who is come from a good family, kindness and honest, he will guide you to become a better person either in education or in life. You will become more discipline by having this relationship. You can discuss, face and solve the problems together. You will review yourself to change your bad attitudes and become a better person together with your partners. It builds up the strong bridge between you and your partner. It leads to a serious relationship and can go along towards marriage. This is considered as good puppy love because it brings benefits to teenager couple.

On the opposite way, if you abduct by the guy who is seek for bad attempt, then you are cheated by fake glamour of him. This kind of guy pretend himself by a beautiful image which is kind and honest but the reality is he only want to play your emotion and do not care about your feelings. This is a bad puppy love because it only will bring disadvantages to your life. For examples, your academic education will be affected because he will not help you on your education and you are just focus on dating with him and makes him happy until neglect your education. This action maybe will lead you to early pregnancy and thus illegal abortion and abandoned new born baby. Domestic violence may occur if early marriage happens.

 In addition, either a good puppy love or bad puppy love, it may cause you get injured from the relationship especially when you break up with your partner. You may choose to suicide and end your life just because your partner leaves you away.

Here is some advice for the teenagers who are engaging in puppy love.

The first piece of advice is to put yourself in the right frame of mind. You must build up your self-discipline. Be sure to understand that there is nothing wrong with falling in love but want to make sure you are controlling yourself to do right ways and think about the consequences if you do the wrong decision just because of you are not rational in the few seconds Teenagers should not feel guilty about their natural feelings. Feeling good about the opposite sex is just as normal as a tree has to sprout, grow, bloom and bear fruit.

The second piece of advice is don't express your emotions too easily. You must cherish about yourself. The third suggestion is not to violate the code of conduct of middle school students. Flowers bloom too early, will wither ahead of time, do not produce full fruit.  

Parents are also playing roles in the ways to prevent teenagers get hurt from puppy love. They should pay more attention to their children's growth and caring about their children. Then the things may not goings to worst as we can’t imagine.
